We have three gorgeous venues this year. All three theaters are conveniently located within a block of each other on Empire Street, in the heart of Providence's Theatre District. Click here for directions.

Perishable Theatre is celebrating its twenty-first year of artistic creation and innovation. Committed to the development of new work for production, Perishable Theatre seeks to produce, present, and incubate works for the stage that are innovative in both form and content. Whether it is providing theatre arts access to disadvantaged teenagers or producing groundbreaking works on our Mainstage, Perishable's programming dares audiences of all ages to challenge assumptions about how we live our lives today. Perishable is located at 95 Empire Street, and has been a venue of the Improv Fest since the beginning.

AS220 is a non-profit community arts space located in downtown Providence. Their mission is to provide an unjuried and uncensored forum for the arts. If you live in the state of Rhode Island, you will get an opportunity to exhibit or perform at AS220. AS220 has evolved into kind of an anti-institutional institution. They've done their best to present the various facets of the organization without using the word "program" to box in what are simply organized human activities in pursuit of a common mission. AS220 is located at 115 Empire St.

Since its founding in 1963, Trinity Repertory Company has been one of the most respected regional theaters in the country. Featuring the last long standing permanent resident acting company in America, Trinity Rep presents a balance of world premiere, contemporary, and classic works for an estimated annual audience of nearly 160,000. The 300-seat Dowling Theater, located in the Lederer Theater Center at 201 Washington Street, plays host to the Improv Fest for the third year in a row.
